1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and KSR Shipping Services (“KSR Shipping,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of our website and your booking of any courier, logistics, or related services offered by us. By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, booking a shipment, or otherwise availing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Definitions
3. Services
KSR Shipping provides domestic and international courier services, including pickup, packaging, transit, tracking, and delivery of Shipments. We may provide Services directly or through one or more Courier Partners, at our discretion, based on the destination, nature, and requirements of the Shipment. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue any Service, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe such action is necessary for legal, safety, security, or operational reasons.
4. Quotations
Quotations provided by KSR Shipping, whether through our website, over the phone, or via WhatsApp or email, are estimates based on the information provided by the Customer, including weight, dimensions, destination, and declared contents of the Shipment. Quotations are valid for a period of seven (7) days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated, and are subject to change if the actual weight, dimensions, or nature of the Shipment differs from the information originally provided.
5. Pricing
Pricing for our Services is based on factors including the weight and dimensions of the Shipment, the pickup and delivery locations, the level of service selected (standard or express), applicable customs duties and taxes for international Shipments, and any additional packaging or handling requested by the Customer. All prices are exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other statutory levies unless expressly stated to be inclusive. We reserve the right to revise our pricing at any time, provided that any price change will not affect a Shipment already booked and confirmed.
6. Payments
Payment for Services must be made in full at the time of booking, unless KSR Shipping has agreed in writing to alternative payment or invoicing terms with the Customer. We accept payment through the methods specified on our website or as communicated by our team. Where payment is not received in full, we reserve the right to withhold pickup, transit, or delivery of the Shipment until payment is completed. All fees paid are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:
The Customer shall indemnify KSR Shipping against any loss, penalty, fine, or claim arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the Customer.
8. Packaging
KSR Shipping provides complimentary doorstep packaging using food-grade plastic covers (of at least 50 microns thickness), bubble wrap, and foam sheets as appropriate to the nature of the Shipment, at no additional charge to the Customer, unless the Customer requests specialised packaging materials beyond our standard offering. While we take reasonable care in packaging each Shipment, the Customer remains responsible for ensuring that fragile, valuable, or sensitive items are clearly identified to our staff at the time of pickup so that appropriate additional precautions can be taken. However KSR Shipping Services reserves the right to decline packing any shipment if, in its sole discretion, the item is unsuitable, unsafe, prohibited, inadequately prepared, or if packing it may result in damage, loss, or any operational or legal risk. In such cases, the customer may be required to pack the shipment themselves and submit it to our office in a properly packed condition before it can be accepted for shipping.
9. Restricted and Prohibited Items
The Customer shall not tender, and KSR Shipping shall not accept for carriage, any of the following items:
KSR Shipping reserves the right to inspect any Shipment to verify compliance with this Section and to refuse carriage of any Shipment reasonably suspected to contain a restricted or prohibited item, without liability to the Customer.
10. Dangerous Goods
Items classified as dangerous goods under applicable domestic or international regulations, including the guidelines of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) where relevant to air transit, will only be accepted for carriage where the Customer has disclosed the nature of such goods in advance and KSR Shipping has expressly agreed in writing to accept the Shipment, subject to any additional packaging, documentation, labelling, and handling charges as may be required.
11. International Shipments
For international Shipments, the Customer acknowledges that transit times, customs clearance procedures, and delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to customs inspections, import restrictions of the destination country, and regulatory holds. KSR Shipping facilitates international Shipments through its network of Courier Partners and does not guarantee customs clearance timelines.
12. Customs Compliance
The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the Shipment and its contents comply with the customs, import, and export regulations of both the origin and destination countries. The Customer shall provide accurate and complete customs declarations and any supporting documentation required. KSR Shipping shall not be liable for any delay, seizure, confiscation, or destruction of a Shipment by customs or other governmental authorities arising from the Customer's failure to comply with applicable customs regulations.
13. Duties and Taxes
Any customs duties, taxes, levies, or other charges imposed by the destination country in connection with an international Shipment shall be borne by the Consignee, unless the Customer has expressly agreed with KSR Shipping in writing to bear such charges at the time of booking. KSR Shipping reserves the right to collect any such duties and taxes in advance from the Customer where required by the relevant Courier Partner or customs authority.
14. Documentation
The Customer shall provide all documentation reasonably required by KSR Shipping to process a Shipment, including but not limited to invoices, customs declarations, identification documents, and any permits or licences required for the specific nature of the Shipment. KSR Shipping reserves the right to delay or refuse carriage of a Shipment where required documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, or not provided.
15. Delivery
KSR Shipping endeavours to deliver domestic Shipments on a next-day basis for most locations, and international Shipments within approximately three (3) to five (5) business days, depending on the destination and Courier Partner involved. These delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. KSR Shipping shall use reasonable efforts to deliver each Shipment to the address provided by the Customer; however, delivery may be affected by factors including weather conditions, incorrect or incomplete address information, Consignee unavailability, customs processing, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
16. Tracking
KSR Shipping provides a unified tracking facility through which the Customer may track the status of a Shipment using a single tracking number, regardless of whether the Shipment is being carried through our own network or a Courier Partner's network. Tracking information is updated as it becomes available to us and, in the case of Shipments carried by a Courier Partner with an integrated tracking system, is subject to the accuracy and update frequency of that Courier Partner's system. For Shipments tracked manually, KSR Shipping will use reasonable efforts to update status information promptly upon receiving confirmation of each stage of transit.
17. Delays
While KSR Shipping endeavours to meet the delivery timelines referred to in Section 15, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from delay in the pickup, transit, or delivery of a Shipment, except where such delay is caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. In the event of a delay caused by circumstances within our reasonable control, the Customer's sole remedy shall be as set out in Section 20 (Claims Procedure).
18. Force Majeure
KSR Shipping shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, war, riot, civil unrest, strikes, governmental action or regulation, customs delays, transportation disruptions, or failure of a Courier Partner to perform due to any of the foregoing.
19. Insurance
KSR Shipping's base liability for any Shipment is limited as set out in Section 21 (Limitation of Liability). The Customer may request additional insurance coverage for a Shipment based on its Declared Value, subject to payment of an additional premium communicated at the time of booking. It is the Customer's responsibility to request such additional insurance in writing prior to pickup; in the absence of such a request, the Shipment shall be carried subject only to the base liability limits set out in Section 21.
20. Claims Procedure
Any claim relating to loss, damage, or delay of a Shipment must be submitted in writing to KSR Shipping using the contact details in Section 30, accompanied by supporting evidence (including, where applicable, photographs of damage, the original invoice, and proof of Declared Value), within the following timeframes:
Claims submitted after the applicable timeframe may be declined at KSR Shipping's discretion. KSR Shipping shall investigate all timely claims and respond within a reasonable period, generally not exceeding thirty (30) days.
21. Limitation of Liability
Except where a Customer has purchased additional insurance under Section 19, KSR Shipping's liability for any loss, damage, or delay to a Shipment shall be limited to the lower of: (a) the Declared Value of the Shipment; or (b) an amount equal to ten (10) times the freight charges paid for that Shipment, subject to a maximum of Rupees Ten Thousand (₹10,000) per Shipment. Where no Declared Value has been provided by the Customer, liability shall be limited to the freight charges paid for that Shipment.
In no event shall KSR Shipping be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity, arising from the carriage, delay, loss, or damage of any Shipment, whether such liability arises in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if KSR Shipping has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit KSR Shipping's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
22. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KSR Shipping, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with: (a) the Customer's breach of these Terms; (b) inaccurate or misleading information provided by the Customer; (c) the Customer's Shipment containing any Restricted or Prohibited Item; or (d) the Customer's violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Termination or suspension of Services shall not affect any accrued rights or liabilities of either party existing at the time of termination.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and KSR Shipping with respect to the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. No failure or delay by KSR Shipping in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right. KSR Shipping may amend these Terms from time to time by posting the revised Terms on our website with an updated Effective Date; continued use of our Services after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
